How pricing will work
Free during the beta. There are no charges while Hopwire is invite-only.
Pricing will be published before general availability.
The planned billable unit is one message to one recipient, however many attempts or channels it takes to deliver.
Retries and fallback are planned to add no Hopwire charge. Messages rejected or suppressed before dispatch, and sandbox simulations, are planned to be free.
WhatsApp and SMS provider fees are separate. During the beta you use your own provider accounts, and they bill you directly.
Every charge will trace back to an immutable usage ledger that already records each message, attempt and SMS segment.

What does Hopwire cost during the beta?
Nothing. Pricing will be published before general availability.
Will a WhatsApp attempt plus an SMS fallback count twice?
Under the planned model, no. It is one message to one recipient. Each provider may still charge for its own attempt.
How will I pay?
Through an Indian payment gateway supporting UPI, cards, net banking and recurring mandates, with GST invoices. Whether plans are prepaid, postpaid or both is still being decided.
Will platforms get one bill for all their businesses?
Yes. Consolidated billing with a breakdown per tenant is planned for Release 1.
What happens if a payment fails?
The planned policy gives a grace period, then stops marketing before OTP and transactional messages, and never deletes data.
